CONTRIBUTING EDITOR (NEW YORK)
Randi Packard is a seasoned market editor and tastemaker whose experience extends from the world of luxury fashion and accessories, to the contemporary, bridal and swimwear markets.
As a contributing market editor, Randi is currently lending her experience to such notable publications such as Lucky magazine, Lucky.com, ArchetypeMe.com, People Style Watch magazine and Real Simple magazine. She is also a consulting creative director for a luxury accessories line.
Prior to venturing out independently, Randi worked at Real Simple magazine from 2003-2013. She began her tenure as Fashion Market Editor where she shaped the magazine’s fashion pages handling everything from selecting and editing all clothing and accessories, styling, and booking the models. After being promoted to Fashion Market Director she managed the magazine’s market editors and freelance staff and also successfully forecasted seasonal trends as well as conceptualized monthly stories.
Prior to Real Simple, Randi was a sought-after stylist’s assistant working on shoots for such legendary publications as Italian Vogue, French Vogue, and Vanity Fair among others.
Randi received a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University and spent a semester studying art and architecture at American College in Paris. She currently resides in New York’s famed Chelsea neighborhood where she is inspired by
art and fashion every day.
