Project Description

Lydia has been working in the hairdressing industry for the last Sixteen years. She began her career in a small hair salon in Dublin city after which she joined Toni&Guy, Dublin/ London where she received an amazing education and was also given the opportunity to develop her artistic skills while working with the art directors on shoots and other projects.
She moved to New York almost 8 years ago as it is were she felt she had to be in order for her career to grow. Over the years she has worked for numerous magazines, jobs which she regularly travel’s for alongside her advertising and celebrity work.
Her work has been described as diverse, artistic and original and while her style can cater to a number of different clients it possesses a distinct edge. In saying that, personality counts a lot in this business, despite how good your craft is personality can get you very far. When on set she is dedicated and enthusiastic and, while a perfectionist does love to have a bit of a laugh with those she works with.

She has always been inspired by legends of the business such as Luigi Murenu, Orlando Pita, Odlie, Didier Malige, Guido and Eugene Souleiman, and feels honored to be part of Luigi, Orlando, Julian Dy’s, Odlie, Didier and Guido’s team’s during fashion weeks in New York and Europe. While she has a distinct style, working with the best in the Business makes her strive for better in all the work that she does.
