KENNETH E. PARRIS III
ARTIST (BROOKLYN, NY)
Kenneth E. Parris III has exhibited his artwork in New York City, across the United States and in numerous Contemporary Art Fairs. His work investigates relationships, the human condition, and how one’s actions affect the surrounding human landscape. Parris’ projects range from mixed media paintings to object oriented installation pieces and have been critically acclaimed by the Walker Art Center Online Magazine, NPR, Time Out New York and his ‘Drawing Dance’ series was featured on The New York Times ArtsBeat for twenty-three weeks. With a BFA in Illustration and AAS in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, he was Art Editor of H.O.W. Journal, won awards from the American Advertising Federation, and is a Chashama Studio Artist and Space Grant recipient. He performed in the remount of Rashaun Mitchell:NOX and is Creative Director of rock band My Jerusalem.
