Jules Wood graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in design & media studies. While attending university she honed her flair for fashion by working with the legendary Leigh Bowery and Minty at the Institute of Contemporary Arts.
Upon graduation she moved to Tokyo, where she worked with Japanese pop stars such as Hikaru Utada, Fay Ray, poet Chris Mosdell and other well regarded personalities. Jules returned to London after four years in Japan and began assisting famed fashion designers Yohji Yamamoto and Vivienne Westwood in their London boutiques. She also began styling for celebrities Sir Elton John, Charles Saatchi and Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys.
Now firmly based in New York City Jules holds the fashion editor title at Imagista. She contributes regularly to magazines such as Nylon, Paper, Zink, Tatler HK, Marie Claire and is a contributing editor for Beauty Rebel and Client Magazine.
