Jesse Frohman began his photographic career in New York City after working for the legendary Irving Penn as his first assistant. Jesse has since gone on to create images for the world’s most renowned magazines including Vanity Fair, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Interview, Rolling Stone andSpin. Additionally, Jesse has shot many advertising campains, record covers and has been commissioned to create two award-winning books. Frohman has photographed countless celebrities and artists including Kurt Cobain, James Brown, Woody Allen, Diane Von Furstenberg, Philip Johnson, Daniel Day Lewis, The Strokes, and Josh Brolin, among others. Jesse has also worked in the still life genre where he has created equally significant and successful advertising campaigns. Frohman has had several one man shows and his work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art and the National Portrait Gallery.
